In ALIKE, identical parts are brought together. Mirrored, shifted, connected. The result is not repetition, but transformation: ‘Twice alike is once a new perfection’. This collection explores symmetry as a method of construction. How two identical elements, with the slightest shift, can create something entirely new. The same and yet different. A quiet ode to precision, reflection, and unity.
The earring A fragment of a cross-section. As if one object, like the ring, were precisely cut in half. It shows that sameness need not be static: ‘What is mirrored, is alive’.
