Pol-Edouard, born in 1984, lives and works near Paris. After illustration and animation arts studies, he started publishing zines and exhibiting his work in 2011. Struggling with mental health problems since 2013, he was able to overcome numerous hospitalizations by focusing on drawing with simple tools such as felt tip pens on paper. Now stabilized, he‘s working on various projects, like screen printed zines, videos and paintings. Reminiscent of 80s video-game worlds full of ultraviolence and techobsessed, metal- and leather-clad villains and villainesses, Pol-Edouard‘s illustrations will envelop your senses with a dizzying, flashy and almost tribalistic feel.
